Personally, if SUN is bought I don't think it will be either HP or Dell. Theres quite a few more prospects that seem to make more sense given SUN's end to end product line and IP. Dell has no software background and probably will kill Sun's intellectual properties. However, it could also be a blessing in disguise - since Dell has no software background, a merger of Sun and Dell would flourish only if Dell recognizes this limitation and let Sun engineers do what they do best.
