It’s going to be almost a year since my last post.. Lot has happened within the past year:  moved to another state, started on a new job and had to tone down myGPSID,..to name a few.   Our take on Yahoo’s FireEagle will be the next post. For all practical reasons, many used to compare myGPSID to Yahoo’s FireEagle which we used to think as a compliment.

Feel free to call me paranoid or skeptical. why? I really don’t see the point in Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) buying out Sun (NASDAQ: JAVA). It just does not make any straight forward business sense. Of course, as  pundits believe, Oracle  deliberately jumped into the deal to cut off IBM (NYSE: IBM) from taking over Sun, especially for the big enterprise accounts.
