Like everyone, we were also very curious on the browser usage patterns especially with the Google’s Chrome. It is surprising that 2% of our traffic are using Google Chrome - It is truly an astounding number for a browser that is only 4 days old.
Another key finding was that 25% users still use IE 6, which is hard to believe. Take these statistics with a grain of salt - our beta has been out only for two days.

When we heard about Google’s Chrome browser, our reaction was … “oh sh.., we have to test the application with one more browser!!”. If not for our beta launch, I would be as thrilled as many of the geeks out there to try out the new product from Google. We expect technically savvy people to be our early adapters, who also happen to openly welcome chrome - so to make sure our product supports the intended early adapters, we decided to test our application with Chrome.

Now that we are out in the public with the beta launch, I have started reaching out to potential investors, advisors and also future employees. One question that keeps coming back is  Is Atlanta the right place for a startup like myGPSID.com?

After numerous long and hard nights, our beta product is finally out. I was not able to do any blogging in August due to this beta launch.

Now that we have crossed one-hurdle, time to take couple of days off and get ready for the many more to come. My sincere thanks to everyone who made this dream a reality; there are too many names to list here.

Alright!!! enough is  enough - I am getting inundated with questions about my future plans. Most of you know by now that I had quit Music Intelligence Solutions; going to be two months soon. So the question is what’s next? Well, we are just getting started on a new innovative product and hopefully we’ll get the initial version out in September/October. Thanks to Ruby on Rails!!
