On Startups
Let’s get the basics right. Honestly we cannot claim to be an expert on successful startups. However, we do certainly qualify to be an expert on unsuccessful startups. Spending years on startup ventures certainly would make one an expert, but the humbling fact is that we learn new things every day, especially things not to do.
We also have spent significant portion of our life at traditional high-end enterprise consulting services. This exposure gives us the opportunity to look at both ends of the spectrum, lethargic large enterprises Vs nimble startups, objectively. Believe us, these two differ drastically; you need to apply different set of skills and rules to succeed in them.
Our goal is to share things that we have learnt over the years, intended for the startup entrepreneurs. Always take it with a grain of salt. Also our experience is specifically catered towards Web i.e., may not apply if you are not a web startup.
